MARKETING CONSULTANT/SALES REPRESENTATIVE: WFCR-FM, NPR News and Music for Western New England, seeks a creative, experienced, energetic, well organized and highly motivated individual to join our Corporate Marketing team. Ideally, this individual will be a public radio listener and supporter.
We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running. A media consultant is required to work independently, develop new prospects, maintain a client database, set-up appointments, assess client needs, secure underwriting contracts, achieve individual monthly budget goals, and develop on-air mentions that meet client needs and FCC /WFCR regulations.

RADIO HOST 88.5 WFCR, NPR News and Music for Western New England, seeks a creative, motivated news anchor to fill-in, part time in its news department. Experience hosting live newscasts, writing news copy, plus ability to meet specific network cues a must. Responsibilities include hosting, spot production, digital editing, and writing. News Reporter
88.5FM WFCR, NPR News and Music for Western New England, licensed to the University of Massachusetts Amherst, seeks a creative, highly motivated reporter to work full time in its award winning news department. The ideal candidate will be a strong writer and reporter who can produce issue oriented, sound-rich news and feature stories about events and people in western New England.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in journalism, communication, or related field. Two years experience in radio program production and journalism, preferably in public radio. Ability to report, research, write, edit, digitally produce and broadcast high-quality newscast and feature material. Excellent communication and language skills. Knowledge of FCC rules and regulations. Ability to travel to locations of news stories and to work hours outside normal business day.
Salary: $34,800 - $43,600 (normail starting salary $34,800 - $39,200).
